"Music Video for House of Hats. For this video I wanted to convey a sense of entrapment within ones mind. It plays out like a dream, beginning with confusion and fear. As the video progresses solace presents its self in the form of a wild dog. The protagonist is then guided through her dream on a path to piece together what has happened to her. There is no sense of linear time, but images form as and when she starts to remember, much like you do when recalling a dream. She finds comfort in the song and is gradually drawn to the tin church where the band play. It is only when she finds courage to open the door that the dream can end." – Maddalena McNicholas
